What we do..
Bumble Movement Arts is a contemporary performance company rooted in play, nature, and physical storytelling. Inspired by the humble bee, our work explores the intersection of ecology, circus, and theatre.
We create original shows for outdoor and indoor spaces that blend circus, narrative, and comedy into joyful, thought-provoking experiences for audiences of all ages.
At the heart of our work is a desire to pollinate connection—between people, between communities, and with the natural world.

Why Bees?
Honey Bees communicate using a dance language,
so do we!
Bee-ology is the initial full length circus theatre show of Bumble Movement Arts. It's an outdoor, solo show about bees and our future.
In addition to full-length productions, Bumble Movement Arts offers a variety of performance experiences for different settings:
-
🎪 Cabaret Acts – Visually striking, characterful performances designed for alternative stages and events. Expect dance, humour, strong stage presence, and a dash of circus mischief.
-
🐝 Walkabout & Immersive Characters – Interactive performers who roam public spaces and festivals, bringing bursts of colour, movement, and surprise. These playful characters invite audiences of all ages into the moment.
-
🌱 Workshops & Community Projects – We design creative experiences for schools, festivals, and community groups that focus on movement, storytelling, nature, and imagination. Each project is tailored to the group and place, always aiming to spark curiosity and confidence.
